This Shipping & Refund Policy outlines the terms governing order processing, shipping, cancellations, returns, and refunds. By placing an order on our website, you acknowledge and agree to the terms set out below.

1.1 Order Processing Time

  • All orders are processed within 1–3 business days upon successful payment.
  • Orders placed on weekends and public holidays will be processed on the next business day.

1.2 Made-to-Order and Seasonal Products

Certain products may be:

  • prepared fresh after order, or
  • subject to seasonal or limited availability.

If such items are temporarily unavailable, we will notify you and offer:

  • a suitable alternative product, or
  • a full refund.

1.3 Shipping Timeframes

After dispatch, estimated delivery timelines are:

  • 3–7 business days for metro cities
  • 5–10 business days for non-metro or remote locations

Delivery timelines may be affected by courier delays, weather conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.

1.4 Shipping Charges

  • Applicable shipping charges will be displayed at checkout.
  • Any free shipping offers will be explicitly mentioned on the website or during promotional periods.

1.5 Order Tracking

  • Once your order is shipped, you will receive tracking information via email or SMS.

1.6 Delivery Attempts

  • Our delivery partners will make up to two attempts to deliver your order.
  • If delivery fails due to an incorrect address, unavailability of the recipient, or refusal to accept the package, the shipment may be returned to us.
  • Additional re-delivery charges may apply.

2.1 Perishable Food Items

Due to the perishable nature of our food products, returns are not accepted for reasons such as:

  • change of mind
  • taste preference
  • opened or partially used items

However, customer satisfaction is important to us, and genuine concerns will be reviewed.

2.2 Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

You may be eligible for a refund or replacement if:

  • the item received is damaged,
  • the item received is incorrect, or
  • the product is expired or spoiled at the time of delivery.

To request assistance, please:

  1. Email us at support@kaaraalarfoods.com within 48 hours of delivery;
  2. Attach clear images or videos showing the issue;
  3. Provide your order number, name, and contact information.

2.3 Refund Approval and Timeline

Upon verification:

  • Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.
  • At our discretion, we may also offer store credit or replacement instead of a refund.

2.4 Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued for:

  • incorrect or incomplete delivery address provided by the customer,
  • repeated failed delivery attempts due to customer unavailability,
  • refusal to accept the order,
  • products that have been tampered with, consumed, or mishandled after delivery.

2.5 Order Cancellation

  • Orders may be cancelled within 6 hours of placement or before shipment, whichever occurs first.
  • Once an order has been shipped, cancellation requests cannot be accommodated.
